The Running Roofer 5K – Liability Waiver & Release Agreement By registering for and participating in The Running Roofer 5K (the "Event"), I, the undersigned participant (or parent/guardian if participant is under 18), acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in a 5K race involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather (including heat, cold, and humidity), traffic conditions, and course hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks and understand that Allstate Exteriors, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and affiliates (the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, or loss that may occur as a result of my participation.

2. Release of Liability

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, release, waive, and discharge the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, or demands arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Event, including those caused by negligence.

3. Medical Treatment & Insurance

I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in the Event. I understand that medical personnel may not be available on-site and that I am responsible for my own medical care and expenses in case of injury or illness.

4. Photo & Media Release

I grant Allstate Exteriors and event organizers the right to use my name, image, and likeness in photographs, video, or other media for promotional purposes without compensation. I understand that these materials may be used on social media, websites, or event marketing.

5. Compliance with Event Rules

I agree to follow all Event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by race officials and volunteers. I understand that failure to comply may result in disqualification or removal from the race.

6. Parent/Guardian Consent (If Under 18)

If the participant is under 18 years old, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to this agreement on behalf of the minor participant.

7. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which the Event is held. If any portion of this agreement is deemed invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.
